    A Great Deal SIZE UP!

Posted by CAKSTX on 12th Apr 2024

I was shocked with how different these pants were after washing. I purchased the 34 regular and was surprised about how wide the pant leg was, almost like 90s JNCO pants. After a warm wash the legs shrunk quite a bit and fit similarly to my Dickies Painter pants 33x30. The waist is a bit higher than most my other pants but it's not uncomfortable. That's the best part of these pants, the fabric and cut make them really comfortable to wear. I'll be getting more soon :)

Very nice pants. Been looking for a long time for a nice, basic military fatigue pants that are not cargo pants. Order a size up because they will shrink.

    Like I Remember Only Better

Posted by William Bourne on 21st Oct 2021

I bought a pair of these trousers about a week ago after reviewing the product description online. Realizing these are reproductions I decided to take a chance and ordered a pair. After ordering I was informed that the size I selected was not available nd that I should speak to a representative. So I called and briefly spoke to someone about possibly getting another size up. Eventually it was determined that they Fatigues did in fact have the size I ordered and without delayed shipped them to me. The people I spoke to were very friendly and responsive and genuinely wanted me to have a good experience speaking to them and with their company. They succeeded. In a couple days my order arrived After a quick inspection I saw that they these trousers do indeed look very much like the originals I wore years ago although these repros are made from cotton. I liked the slightly rough and rugged feel so I put them on immediately. I normally wear an size 34 but ordered a 36 as the website recommended. That was a good choice. These trousers fit a bit close right at the hips (like the originals) with the 36in waist band providing a bit of extra room for my belly. It seems that everything about these are cut for a 34 in waist EXCEPT the waistband which is a bit large. It actually works out better as I think the added waist is good if you have a bit a bulge at the waistline as many people do. For me personally I think I will move the waist button in inch or so to take in the extra room. That said, they fit well without any modifications. I got the regular length which comes at as a 32 inch inseam. The legs are looser than the originals which I think is better. When I squat down I don't feel the material pulling at my thighs and there is plenty of freedom for other lower body movement as well. And they look cool too. I would recommend these to anyone who likes the old Army fatigue style and is OK with a good quality reproduction.

Remove the Manufacturer's tag on the back pocket flap and they look just like the ones I was issued in '74. Good job!

    Good quality fatigue pants

Appears to be good quality fatigue pants. Ordering the next size up was good advice--they fit perfectly. legs are long so you can cut off as much as you need to make them fit. Cut fuller than I remember my original fatigues. May need to have the legs tapered. Over-all, a very good deal. Will most likely buy a second pair. A+++ dealer.

    Good 'ol "army pants "

These type of fatigues were a dime a dozen in the '60 and '70's and are next to impossible to find. These aren't the original government issue, but they're pretty darn close! The cut and fit are spot on! And as a bonus, they're made in the U.S.A. You won't regret buying a pair of these for kicking around in.

    Old School

While not exactly the same as the pants my Uncle gave me back in 1975, these are very similar. Unlike the G.I. issue pants, these have a zipper fly instead of buttons (back in the day only the Jungle Fatigue pants had zippers). The commercialy produced fatigues they sold at the BX had zippers, as did the permanent press ones that came out shortly before the swirch to BDUs. But I digress... The material is not as thick and sturdy as the original fatigues, but is pretty good nonetheless. The cut is about what I remember, maybe a bit less baggy. Its hard to judge after all these years, as I had all my issue fatigues tailored as soon as I got to my first base. After all, as a SAC SP I had to be extra STRAC. Overall, these have the look and feel of the originals, and, best of all, they are made in the USA. Do I like them? Well, as soon as the first pair came I ordered 3 more!
