I purchased an Alpha M65 Field Jacket, and O.D. green liner. First the coat. I served in the infantry, 1983 to 1987, and this coat is just as good if not better than the one I was issued. It is sewn quite sturdily, the buttons are on tight. I happen to like the brass zipper, as that was on my issue coat. I don't care about the nit picker reviews about it, it's a solid piece that I KNOW I'll get years of use from. Now the liner. I originally wanted the Alpha in O.D. green. Carol (she's the best! ) called me as soon as she found out they didn't have the O.D, but had it in black. I opted out of the black. The Alpha ones have a couple of pockets in the front, and the end of the sleeve is like a baseball jackets, no straps to attach it at that end. Carol was very quick to find one like I wanted, it's Rothco, but it is closer to the original. No problems with the liner either. Doing business here is a win-win! Carol made sure that my refund on the price difference between the two liners would be refunded A.S.A.P. I will be doing a lot more business here. Yep, the jacket/liner are just like the one's I was issued at Ft. Benning. Thank-You!
