Excellent Quality
Surprisingly good quality wool -- soft, thick, nice weave -- not at all rough like some military wool items. (Glove liners, for instance.) And very warm. As others have noted elsewhere, it's a little shorter than the store-bought scarves we're used to. No doubt, this is the military spec showing up: too long and it's more likely to get caught in or on things, or even entangle the wearer's arms. It's long enough for me though. A tremendous bargain at this price.
